Story: Acts on the King's behalf, managing day-to-day operations and supervising all activities across the kingdom.

"Agent" means every person who takes part in the management, control or direction of the mine on behalf of the owner.
🩺 The Royal Physician (Qualified Medical Practitioner)
Story: The only certified doctor allowed to treat citizens - officially recognized and registered with the medical council.
Legal Definition:
"Qualified medical practitioner" means a medical practitioner possessing recognised medical qualifications enrolled on a state medical register.

⚔️ Head Knight (Chief Inspector)
Story: The supreme commander of the kingdom's safety forces - the top official appointed to enforce mining laws.
Legal Definition:
"Chief Inspector" means the Chief Inspector of Mines appointed under this Act.
🛡️ Royal Knights (Inspector)
Story: Brave enforcers who patrol the kingdom ensuring safety laws are followed. Even the local Sheriff (District Magistrate) joins them for mine duties!
Legal Definition:
"Inspector" means an Inspector of Mines, and includes a "District Magistrate" when performing mine duties.
🏛️ Royal Council (Committee)
Story: A special advisory group formed to help make important decisions about the kingdom's operations.
Legal Definition:
"Committee" means a committee constituted under section 12.

PART 3: THE KINGDOM'S WORKERS - The Workforce

🧑 Adult Citizen (Adult)
Story: Any citizen who has reached the "Age of Ascension" - 18 years old and above.
Legal Definition:
"Adult" means a person who has completed his eighteenth year.
👷 Kingdom Workforce (Employed)
Story: Everyone working within the kingdom - from miners and mechanics to office clerks and sanitation workers! If you're doing any work related to mining operations, you're part of the workforce.
Legal Definition:
"Employed" includes persons working in: (i) mining operations, (ii) mine development, (iii) machinery maintenance, (iv) loading minerals, (v) mine office work, (vi) welfare services, (vii) any work connected to mining.

PART 4: THE KINGDOM'S DOMAIN - Places & Treasure

🏰 The Kingdom (Mine)
Story: It's not just a hole! It's the ENTIRE REALM - including excavations, workshops, power stations, railways, and even dumping grounds!
Legal Definition:
"Mine" includes: (i) borings & shafts, (ii-iv) levels & opencast workings, (v-vi) conveyors & railways, (vii-ix) workshops & power stations, (x-xi) processing plants & dumping grounds.
💎 The Treasure (Minerals)
Story: The precious resources we're searching for - all valuable substances obtained from the earth, including oil and gas!
Legal Definition:
"Minerals" means all substances obtained from the earth by mining, including mineral oils and natural gas.
🏢 The Town Hall (Office of the Mine)
Story: The administrative center located at the surface where the kingdom's paperwork is handled.
Legal Definition:
"Office of the mine" means any office at the surface of the mine.

Story: A quarry that doesn't go deep underground - it's a surface mining operation.
Legal Definition:
"Opencast working" means a quarry that doesn't extend below superjacent ground.

📅 The Long Absence (Reportable Injury)
Story: When a citizen gets injured and can't work for 3 days or more - this must be reported to the throne!
Legal Definition:
"Reportable injury" means any injury causing enforced absence from work for 72 hours or more.
🩸 The Permanent Change (Serious Bodily Injury)
Story: A life-altering injury like losing a limb or eyesight - these are the most serious incidents in the kingdom.

"Serious bodily injury" means injury involving permanent loss of body part, sight, hearing, or fracture of any bone.

📅 Daily Cycle (Day)
Story: The kingdom's basic time unit - a 24-hour period starting at midnight.
Legal Definition:
"Day" means a period of twenty-four hours beginning at midnight.

Story: The kingdom's week starts at midnight on Saturday - seven days of operation!
Legal Definition:
"Week" means a period of seven days beginning at midnight on Saturday night.
